Crude oil treatment and hydrogen purification, from datasheet to handover
Axsia Howmar is a UK engineering consulting and contracting firm. We design and supply crude oil treatment systems (heaters and the electrostatic coalescers used as dehydrators and desalters) and hydrogen purification packages using pressure swing adsorption (PSA) and temperature swing adsorption (TSA). We also troubleshoot, review capacity and supply spare parts, subject to export checks.
Equipment and packages we design and supply
Two families of process equipment, each delivered from a process datasheet through design, procurement, fabrication at approved workshops, delivery and commissioning.
Crude oil treatment
Heaters and electrostatic coalescers, designed as one train to the basic sediment and water (BS&W) and salt specification the crude has to meet. Dehydrator and desalter are two duties of the same coalescer vessel.
Hydrogen purification
Pressure swing adsorption (PSA) for bulk hydrogen purification. Temperature swing adsorption (TSA) for gas dehydration and for DeOxo dryer packages on electrolyser hydrogen. The two are not interchangeable; we explain which fits.

An independent review of what limits throughput in an existing unit, and which revamp options remove the limit.
Troubleshooting and performance diagnostics
A symptom index for electrostatic coalescers, their power units and hydrogen PSA units: probable causes and the data that confirms them.
Spare parts and lifecycle support
An open catalogue with no login and no prices: add parts to one enquiry and send it once. Electrode insulators, high-pressure entrance bushings, grid assemblies, transformer bushings and adsorbents are typical requests.

Fabrication by approved workshops. We do not fabricate. Packages are built by fabricators on your approved vendor list, or by fabricators our own team has audited.
Codes confirmed per project. Typically ASME VIII Division 1, PD 5500 or EN 13445 for vessels, API 12L and API 560 for heaters, and IEC 60079, ATEX or IECEx for hazardous areas.
